Food security continues to be one of the most pressing needs for vulnerable families in our community. In response to this need, the Family Hub works in collaboration with community partners to provide a Short-Term Food Support Market.

 Program Eligibility:

• Families have at least one child that is 12 years of age and under 
• Must reside in the Central Okanagan area (Peachland, West Kelowna, Kelowna, and Lake Country)
• Must have a demonstrated need for short-term food support

Program Information: 

• The market will be open on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm
• Families will be given a time slot to shop at the market (No drop-ins)
• This program is a referral-based program and families can access the market for six months (Please see below)
• There will be two intakes in the year:
  1. December (For January to June)
  2. June (For July to December)
